During the last decades biological sciences have accumulated the great volume of actual information which characterize quantitatively the work of several intracellular metabolic systems. The role of systems biology is to integrate all this information into a single whole, analyze it and use for solution of various fundamental and applied tasks in biotechnology and biomedicine. As an instrument of such “integration” are kinetic models of several parts of metabolism. In the frameworks of these models is possible to collect practically all experimental data, received both in vitro and in vivo systems, which characterize cell metabolism comprehensively.

It is possible to add that up to now none of the existing approaches could be compared with kinetic modeling in prediction power and precision of description. Moreover, the strategy, used in our group, allows reaching maximal model detailing and consequently significantly decreasing the sphere of its using for biological tasks solution. That is why kinetic modeling becomes increasingly popular among of researchers of biochemical systems, and diapason of its using continuously widen. This diapason was recently added by such important problems as optimization of bioengineering and biotechnological processes, investigation of drug action mechanisms, etc.

In this part of web site you can get to know more about our research in several directions of theoretical biochemistry and molecular biology. The spectrum of our research in this field is wide enough; therefore we divided it into some main fields.
