PACS - Process Analysis and Control Software

projb_2.jpg PACS is an advisory software developed for optimization of 6-aminopenicillan acid industrial production. This project have been realized in the framework of collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline company. This project is a one more successful example of kinetic modeling approuch for Biotechnology. PACS using on the GlaxoSmithKline enterprises have led to the enzyme savings amounted about 10% and to the considerable increase of the relative yield of product. It is significant that obtained results have not only completely repaid research inputs and but also led to the significant profit.

Software description:

On the basis of kinetic model of penicillin acylase developed and features of biotechnological synthesis of 6-aminopenicillan acid our group have worked out advisory software on demand of pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline. The main function of this software is to integrate kinetic model and its predictions to the industrial production. In this software all requirements of biotechnologists who deal with control of 6-aminopenicillan acid production in industrial conditions have been completely realized.

PACS interface
The program interface is very easy and do not requires from user any special skills. Software algorithm not only allows reaction conditions regulating but also giving to the biotechnologist the optimal strategy of components adding. That permits to reach the maximal efficiency of the biotechnological process passing.
Practical realization of the programme:
